Get into your best shape for life! I have had my own personal training business for 25 years, which began with 4 years of managing a back and neck rehabilitation center for an orthopedist. I graduated from the University of San Diego, and also completed a spinal rehabilitation program at the University of Florida. I am certified as a personal trainer through the American Council of Exercise (ACE), TRX, and Johnny G. I have a strong passion for helping my clients to achieve their best health and life, and to feel and look their best. I have trained some of my clients for more than 20 years, and truly care for each of them. I do my best to make a great positive difference in each of their lives, including their physical health, confidence level, and attitude. I strive to customize each individual's program according to their unique needs, goals, and limitations. I incorporate a variety of different types of training techniques to make each session challenging, interesting, safe, and fun.  I consistently provide the motivation, knowledge, and support necessary to keep them on track. Workouts may include strength, flexibility, cardiovascular, conditioning, agility, rehabilitative, corrective, and functional exercises (focuses on movements necessary in everyday life, and proper body mechanics), TRX (suspension and rip training), tabata, HIIT (high intensity interval / burst training), plyometric, boot camp, boxing, and sports specific training, yoga, and mat pilates, in addition to traditional training, depending on the individual's needs. I offer nutrition, weight loss, weight management, health coaching, postural alignment, neck and back stabilization and conditioning, and injury prevention. I work with all fitness levels and all ages, from youth to older adult. I would love the opportunity to work with you! I will do my very best to make your training experience as enjoyable and rewarding as I possibly can. I am available to train at private homes, offices, beaches, parks, and several private health clubs, from San Clemente to Monarch Beach. I am happy to answer any further questions you may have. I'm a 70 year old guy. Kathleen has been my trainer for two years. I was never sold on having a trainer but working with her has made a huge difference in my life. I had back trouble, let myself go & was in pretty terrible condition when we started - poor balance, lacking in strength, had difficulty walking without discomfort. For the first several months, she just stretched me; my legs were incredibly tight. Then we moved to working out - on the stairs, the ball, the floor, with & without weight.
